 COLORADO
January 31, 2025 - February 18, 2025

Our Colorado 2025 Trip started out from Boston with a flight
to Denver International Airport.

About 1 hour south of Denver is Colorado Springs, which became our home
for a few weeks.

The Colorado Springs area is beautiful in many ways.
So much to see and do, including Pikes Peak, the Garden of the Gods,
the IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial, and so much more.

Part of our trip also enjoyed a special 2 night visit to New Mexico.

The visit, like most of our trips, included visits to various Fire Stations
and all the neighborhoods and scenery observed in the dot to dot travel in between.

The weather in February, was as warm as 72 degrees one day,
and 1 degree or below just days later.

We had a wonderful visit and look forward to more visits in the future.

 Colorado Springs Fire Station 15

Colorado Springs Fire Station 15 provided a wonderful tour.
The station is home to E15, Brush 15, and the Air Supply unit.

Colorado Springs - Garden of the Gods

One of the spectacular National Landmarks in the Colorado Springs area
is the Garden of the Gods.

Breath taking scenery.

We walked through a small portion of the park.
It is much larger and worthy of a visit for sure.

Pikes Peak is visible from many places including
the Garden of the Gods.
