WEST BARNSTABLE FIRE HEADQUARTERS
The West Barnstable Fire Department dedicated their 1988 Fire Headquarters to former
Fire Chief John Palmer Jenkins who served as Chief from 1973 to 2005.

Many of his friends from over the years attended the ceremony on May 4, 2026
which recognized Chief Jenkins' years of service and commitment to the department.
His leadership, friendship, and love of the fire service brought back many fond memories.

JPJ passed away in 2022.
A plaque has been placed to the right of the front door remembering his service
and commitment to West Barnstable and all of Cape Cod.
