WORKING FIRE
Falmouth Fire Department responded to a reported Structure Fire at 749 North
Falmouth Hwy,
at approximately 18:40 on Sunday February 15, 2026.
Engine 3 (23), Engine 4 (24), Engine 6 (20), Ladder 1 (26), Car 1 (11), Car 2
(12),
Car 3 (28) were dispatched on the initial alarm.
First arriving Engine 3 (23) reported a 1 story house, set
back off the road, fully involved.
Access was difficult so supply lines were brought in from the street to initiate
fire fighting.
Snow from a storm several weeks ago continued to be a challenge working outside.
The home was reported evacuated, but a dog may have been inside.
The Working Fire assignment brought a Joint Base Engine 10
(410), Falmouth Engine 1 (21),
and a COMM Ambulance 2 to the scene.
Other apparatus covered Falmouth Stations.
The fire was knocked down within about 30 minutes.
