COTUIT BRUSH FIRE
Cotuit Fire Department was dispatched to a Brush Fire on Trout Brook Road
on Friday April 24, 2026 at about 2:30 PM.

On arrival firefighters found a brush fire rapidly spreading up hill and threatening
a small storage shed. A "Working Brush Fire" Assignment was requested
bringing assistance from COMM, Mashpee, DCR, and Barnstable Fire Departments.

The fire burned about 1/2 acre of light brush before being contained.
Damage was minor.
