COMM BRUSH FIRE
COMM Fire Department was dispatched to a Brush Fire on Old Homestead Drive
in Marstons Mills just before noon on Friday April 24, 2026.

The Sandwich Fire Tower reported good smoke showing from the area.

COMM units arrived and found a permit fire that had got away as the wind picked up.
Forestry 1 (317), Engine 1, Car 4, Car 2, State Car 2 responded.
The fire was controlled quickly and did not cause any exposure damage.
