On a beautiful sunny day, September 10, 2025.
A peaceful visit to this inspiring Memorial with Pikes Peak
in the background.
This was not my first visit, nor the last.
There was no crowd today.
Just the sound of an air compressor as engravers
added far too many more names to the wall representing
the "Class of 2024."
That Class will include Nancy E. Moyer
from Dennis, MA Local 2583.
I was able to find the names of some friends
from Cape Cod.
Some very special people.
They shall be forever remembered here.
As we Remember September 11, 2001
and the 343 FDNY Members Lost at the
World Trade Center, on that terrible day,
We also Remember those friends
from back home and their families
who miss them all.
Rest in Peace
