The capital building at Boise, Idaho
|DAY 17 - SEPT 18 - SUNDAY
We took a little while in the morning to see Pocatello, including a couple fire stations. We stopped at the Pocatello Airport and visited the ARFF station there before continuing on west on to I-86 and I-84 on the southern part of our loop thru Idaho.
Twin Falls sounded like a good place for lunch. As we were heading back towards the highway, we crossed over a bridge and saw someone jump off! We pulled off into a parking area and then watched several other people jump off this bridge - base jumping into this Snake River canyon. It turns out, Twin Falls is home to the Snake River Base Academy.
Our drive continued west taking us to the capital of Idaho at Boise. We got our capital building pictures (good looking capital) and checked out a few fire stations and then the Idaho Fallen Firefighters & 9/11 Memorial.
Night 17 was at a campground in Boise, Idaho.

We were driving over the bridge when we saw someone jump off it.
We quickly parked and watched several others "base jumping" from the bridge.
