NEW ENGINE 190
Provincetown will be replacing Engine 190, its oldest in service pumper (1973 Ford/Maxim 750/500 Engine 1).  Word is it will be very similar to the new Engine 5.
PROVINCETOWN REFURBISHES OLD LAFRANCE

This 1936 American LaFrance pumper served as PTown's Engine 4 until 1976.  It sat covered with dust and junk until recently when firefighters began refurbishing the old pumper.  Currently it has a nice new paint job and the motor has been sent out to be rebuilt.  We will look forward to seeing this beautiful truck come back to life in the coming months.  Feb 2002.

Provincetown Runs in 2001
Not yet available.
Funding has already been authorized to replace Engine 3's 1975 Young pumper purchased used by Ptown in 1993.  The plan is to purchase another "fullsized" pumper, probably another Farrera cab forward style pumper, in the next year.  Engine 4's 1980 Mack (purchased used in 1997 is expected to be replaced in 2003 or 2004.
