   Fire Departments                 PRINT
   The "Islands" refer to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.  Martha's Vineyard (Dukes County) has 6 fire departments 
     and Nantucket (Nantucket County) has one.  The Elizabeth Islands (Town of Gosnold) have minimal fire protection
     and no formal radio system. There are also airport ARFF units at each Island airport.  Dukes County Sheriff's Dept.
     Communications Center at the Airport dispatches for all departments.

      (Centralized Medical Emergency Dispatch) Center is located at the Barnstable Sheriff's Public Safety dispatch.
