Barnstable E-202 PLANNING - Barnstable is in the initial planning phase of replacing their Rescue Pumper Engine 202.  Anticipate an article to purchase a new engine in spring district meeting 2008.  Sept 2007

 PLANNED - Bourne has a 5 ton Military chassis that is expected to be used to build a new Breaker 128 to replace the 1967 Kaiser 1500 gallon breaker that has been plagued with problems in recent years.  June 2005

Ladder
126		 DELIVERED - New Aerial Tower.  The new Bourne Aerial Tower 126 was delivered in Sept 2006. It is a 2006 America LaFrance 100' midship aerial tower quint with a 2000 gpm pump and 300 gallon tank. The truck will replace the 1973 Grove 85' Ladder 126.  The department has been training and making minor repairs, etc prior to the truck going in service. Updated Mar 15, 2007.
Chilmark B-131 ORDERED - Chilmark has placed an order to replace its Brush Breaker 131 . EJ  Murphy (Bulldog Fire Apparatus) got the bid for a Freightliner chassis 750 gallon brush breaker with a class A foam system.  The vehicle will be similar to the design of the West Tisbury breaker with more structural firefighting capabilities. Expected delivery June 2008. Posted 2/26/06. Updated June 11, 2007. 
Dennis E-107 DELIVERED - Dennis FD has taken delivery of their new Pierce Dash 1500/500/30A/40B Rescue Pumper.  The new engine will replace the 1981 Ford /E-One Engine 107.  The new Rescue Pumper is expected to serve at Station 2, which would move the present E-106 to HQ and the present E115 to Station 2.  The engine was approved at the April 2006 meeting and was delivered in Nov 2007. DCR Appar PLANS - The Dept of Conservation and Recreation recently placed in service a 1999 Chevy 250/250/20A forestry truck in service as 1-1 (Car 3). The former Car 3, 1996 Ford, will be assigned to the Vineyard as 810. The next action is to place a 650 gallon poly tank and new fire pump in the 1969 International Breaker 5. The 3000 gallon surplus tanker that originally came from Lanesboro and West Barnstable, will be equipped with a pump and assigned to the State Forest on the Vineyard. DRC is also anticipating taking on a surplus fuel tanker as a water tanker for Shawme District 1. There have also been some upgrades to the RAT and there is now an ATV at Shawme. Nantucket Tanker ON ORDER - Nantucket has a new tanker on order.  It is reported to be an ATC Wildland Ultra with 2000 gallon tank.  See Similar.  This will replace one or both of the older tankers (Tanker 1).  It is expected late fall 2006.  Posted June 2006. Updated 10/30/06. 
Nantucket Marine DELIVERED - Nantucket FD now has a 22' Ambar former USCG rigid hull inflatable boat that is docked at Madaket Harbor.  Aug 19, 2007.  Nantucket also expected to locate a former surplus pickup truck on Tuckernuck Island near the dock to shuffle firefighters approximately 1 mile to the fire station on that island housing 1 fire truck.  Aug 19, 2007.
OakBluffs Eng 522 PLANNED - Oak Bluffs is planning to replace their 1980 GMC / E-One pumper Engine 522. Specific plans have not been made, but the engine is expected to be replaced in 2006/07.  Posted June 2006
Onset Sq.3 PLANNING - Onset is planning a Rescue vehicle to replace the 1984 Ford/Farrar Rescue Truck Squad 3.  If approved, the new vehicle would probably have a 4 door cab, rescue body, a 1250 pump, 500 gals, a foam system, generator, light tower, and jaws.

Orleans L-176 ON ORDER - Orleans is expecting a May 2008 delivery of a Sutphen 75' midship Aerial Tower quint with a 1500 gpm pump and 300 gallon tank. The new tower will replace the 1974 Maxim S 85' midship aerial Ladder 176.  Posted May 2007. Updated Nov 2007
Orleans Boat DELIVERED - Orleans has taken delivery of a former 22' USCG Inflatable boat. It came with twin Honda engines but will have a single 150 HP Mercury when in service. Nov 2007

 PLANNING - Plymouth is in the planning stages for apparatus replacements in next year's capital budget.  This may include replacement of the 1982 Rescue 1, an Engine (possibly the 1975 E9), and possibly another brush vehicle.  No specifics or funding at this time.  Nov 2005
Sandwich Engine DELIVERED - Sandwich was awarded the bid for their new Rescue/Pumper to Sutphen.  Funding for the engine was approved in April 2005. The new engine will probably be assigned to Station 1 as Engine 451 expected early 2007.  The present Engine 451 would be reassigned to Station 3 and the 1987 Pierce Engine 453 would replace the 1972 Maxim F Engine 452 at Station 2.  Posted June 2005. Sandwich Breaker PLANNED - New Brush Breaker.  A military 5 ton chassis will be used to build a new brush breaker to replace the recently retired 1967 Kaiser Breaker 462. No specifics on when the breaker will be built.  Sandwich has rebuilt two breakers in recent years with work done in house.  Breaker 461 and Breaker 463.  7/04
Wareham Breaker PLANNED - Wareham Fire will be ordering a new brush breaker soon. Funding was approved at town meeting last spring and specs have been drawn up for a 750 gallon breaker that would be along the lines of the Carver style breakers. The new breaker would replace one of the 1978 Ford/Farrar breakers. Mar 2006. Update Mar 15, 2007.
W. Barn Utility PLANNED - West Barnstable expects to keep the 1990 International/Horton former ambulance as a utility vehicle equipped with a cascade system, generator, lighting equipment, and other equipment currently carried on trailers. Updated Dec 3, 2007
W. Barn T-286 DELIVERED - West Barnstable has taken delivery of a surplus 1978 Military 2.5 ton 1200 Tanker formerly with DCR District 4. WBFD expects to put a pump on this vehicle and utilize it as an additional tanker. Updated Dec 3, 2007

Yarmouth E-42 DELIVERED - Yarmouth has received another Pierce Enforcer (similar to E-45) to replace the Station 2  Engine 42.  The new engine is expected to be a 1500/500 pumper with a CAFS system. The present E-42 is expected to then become E-47 @ Station 1 replacing the 1985 Pierce Arrow. Expected Fall 2007.  Posted 2/2/07. Updated 12/27/07
